Mikey!

Michael is my little whimsical whipper snapper that's got a thimble of mischievousness in him and has grown up to be a bit of a tease. He has a keen sense of humor and school definitely gets in the way of his having ultimate fun everyday. Yes, he is a YELLOW!

ONE OF MANY MEMORIES:
It was dinner time and Robin was gone out of town, so being the creative chef that I am in the field of the culinary arts, I was slaving away at making my prized grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids.

As each sandwich came off the grill I would call out to the kids.

"Michelle, you're grilled cheese is ready!"

"Errin, you wanna grilled cheese? It's ready!"

"Ashley, come and eat your grilled cheese!"

I looked down at Michael.  He was sitting on his well worn wooden booster seat and leaning on the table with his little two year old elbows.
He carefully eyed the plate of food being passed to Ashley.

"Michael, you wanna grilled cheese"?

He looked at me and wisely announced; "I don't want a Girl Cheese,. . . . I wanna Boy Cheese!" The girls and I all exchanged glances and grins. Holding back the giggles I recovered with;

"Oh, what was I thinking? Well then a Boy Cheese is what YOU get!" and I scooped the sandwich onto his plate. "There you go! One Boy Cheese!"
After making such a wise observation, Michael now sat just a tad taller in that booster chair, and of course downed the sandwich in nothing flat.

BoyCheeses have since been a staple in Mikey's life.
(I fixed him one just last night!)
And I'm quite sure it hold's quite a bit of weight in him becoming

the real man that he is today!
