Nikes & Kendama for Kyla

  

It's what Kyla's been waiting for!!!  

Her birthday Nike's finally arrived.

Kyla and Michael went to the Nike site and designed these shoes. 

So they are "one of kind" made to Kyla's liking. 

After you design your shoes and 

place your order, you get to wait!!!!   

A very long time! 

But they were finally delivered . . . yeah! 

Her FAV-orite thing about the shoes 

is her nic name on the back.

Another thing Kyla wanted was a Kendama. 

I asked, "What's a kendama?"

Sorry the video is a little dark. . . the sun was pouring through the back glass and so the lighting isn't the best. 

I have tried this ump-teen times. . . . it's very hard.  There are 5 places you can choose on that little wooden toy to catch the ball.   Then you can make it even more difficult by doing something like "around the world"  BEFORE you catch it. 

It's kind of hard to really appreciate just what Kyla is doing here, but, believe me, all of us here at the old homestead are pretty  WOWWWWED at her new skills!
