Happy Birthday Grandpa!

It was a HUGE weekend. My dad planned a big family reunion with his brothers and sisters in Pine Valley. We had cousins and relatives from the east coast to the west coast show up and it was wonderful to see so many people. My dad, the man who always has a huge garden every year, fed everyone (100 + people) corn on the cob, all from his incredible corn patch, as well as tomatoes, and cucumbers. He also cooked all the BBQ ribs for the crowd. My cousins from the Cox family did the dutch oven potatoes and cobbler. Yum! Yum!
Lance & Susan brought their climbing wall. It's a lot of fun and a good little upper body workout! This is Ash climbing above and fishing below.

Me and Papa!

It happened to also be my dad's 78th birthday. So as my gift to him, I wrote a little diddi with the help of my siblings thoughts and ideas, adding an old favorite father's day song, "An Ordinary Man" on the end, making this small tribute.
Of course. . . .my daddy's the bestest in the westest!!! Hope you enjoy!
(You'll want to turn off the music box on the right, as well as patiently wait for it to buffer.)
