It's that time of year! I love the spring and I love
the Easter Egg Hunt!
This is the stash that I have right now and we have 3 days to go before the big event! This probably looks like a lot of stuff . . . and it is, (about 180 prizes)
but honestly? . . . .we need (I want) more.
(unless we have less kids show up. . . which I doubt.)
But it's been a lean year in the economy, so it will be what it will be.
So far I have had Kyla stuff 326 eggs with prize tickets to add to about 170 misc bubble and slime eggs. So that works out to be about 5 eggs per kid if we have 100 kids.
I need more prizes. (Two years ago, each kid got 12 eggs!
Last year I think they got 7.)
This looks like a ton of candy too. . . .it IS a ton of candy!
This represents about 1800 pieces of candy.
so . . . that's 18 per kid. . . not bad????
What I really like are fruit snacks, squeeze drinks,
chips, (this stuff is big and fills up the basket and looks good!)
This is what I'm missing so far. . . . . Sacagawea dollars and Susan B. Anthony's.
I'd like about 40 of these to put in some eggs.
But. . . unless I get a good dose of cash donated between now and Friday we'll have to pass on these this year. :-(
At any rate. . . It's gonna be one big wonderful event! I can't wait!
