I played a concert at Ancestor Square this month with some good friends and fellow songwriters. Nic, Ryan & Loni.
Nic Chamberlain recently got back from a two year stint in NYC and joined me on stage with some drums and a djembe. He brought his new band "The Bovines" along to play a few tunes and they rocked!
Also joining me was journeyman musician Ryan Tilby. As Rich Panessa says; "Ryan is a marksman when it comes to any guitar."
I say: "Ryan is a marksman when it comes to anything with strings on it, mando, bass, dobro, guitar, banjo. . . . to name a few!
Long time friend Loni Stookey also sang. She has such an incredible voice. She could sing the telephone book and people would join her fan club. It doesn't hurt that she's beautiful as well!
Anyway, it was a fun night, I was able to introduce a couple of new tunes, the weather was absolutely perfect and thanks to Errin I have a couple of picts!
