An Early Birthday Celebration!

I was scheduled to sing at Thanksgiving Point this last weekend for the Tulip Festival.  It's always so fun.  Ryan Tilby comes to play with me and he really adds some cool sound to my songs.  Since we were a week out from Michelle's birthday I told her we would celebrate while I was there. 

Well, the weather turned really nasty Saturday morning, and the outdoor entertainment had to be canceled.   I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to it, but thrilled not to play in bad weather, freezing my fanny off.  I'll just have to go up another time! 

With the whole day open, Michelle and I headed to the mall for some birthday shopping.  I told her we needed to buy something to go with her new darling jewelry that Errin and Ashley had picked out for her. 

 

Then we went and got pedicures!  Fun! Fun!

Then we went to dinner at an 

Italian restaurant 

where her friend, Lezlee was entertaining.

We started off with fried zucchini appetizers, 

then had some scrumptious eggplant parmigiana & pasta. 

Let our dinner settle while we listened to Lezlee then 

had a tantalizing chocolate cake for desert.

We rolled out of the restaurant 

like two fat cats! 

I definitely will have some serious dieting and exercising to do this week to make up for it!
