Happy Happy Birthday Yvonnie Dear!!!

Well, I did not expect to have such a wonderful birthday,

but. . . .it was!!!

Sometimes in years past money has been tight

and we agree to keep things small and simple.

I am not one who needs a shower of gifts on my birthday.

I'm actually VERY happy to pretend it didn't even happen,

and if I have to acknowledge it,

a BBQ with all the kids is all I need.

So. . . . when Robin wished me a happy birthday

early morning on June 4th. . .

I was caught off guard.

Not because it isn't like him. It's soooo him!

But for some reason I was not prepared for him

to hand me over such a beautiful box.

It's a GORGEOUS pearl bracelet and

matching earrings.

I love them!! They go with fancy, they go

with jeans! They're very classy (in MY opinion)

and. . . Robin just has great taste!

Then the girls called and Dad and I went to

meet them at Pancho & Lefty's where

we had a yummy yummy lunch!!

and. . . they gave me MORE gifts!!!

Woahhhh!!

I LOVE these shoes!!! I have wanted a pair

like them for months!!!

and. . . I LOVE these too!!!

So fun! They go with everything!!

They also gave me a darling watermelon colored top,

(I missed getting a picture of that.)

I just had a terrific day!

I was spoiled to the NINES!

And I feel very very blessed to have such thoughtful

kids and wonderful husband.
