A Few hi-lights of the last couple of months!

The 4th of July celebration at Lance's House. He has the perfect yard to park a few blankets and chairs on to watch all the fireworks!!! We were lucky enough to see Michael for about 10 minutes that night!

Grandma and Grandpa with Aunt Edith
We had just finished eating some yummy
home-made ice cream and now we're just
letting it all settle in!!
Here's "Papa" . . . as Ali would say!
A few of the kids!
Melody, Ali, Conrad and Lincoln
oh yeh. . . and "Big Dog".
Ali and Melody.
Melody was true to her name and sang
the entire time of the fireworks at the top
of her lungs!
This is at Jazzy's.
It looks like I'm singing but I'm not,
I'm giving kudos to Rich Panessa,
at a surprise celebration for the guy
that saved my life by taking over SUSWA!!
Some more applause for the guy who works
his hinie off in behalf of all of SUSWA.
A darling rare photo of Errin and fam!
Ashley's baby!!!! woot! woot!
Michael's graduation!!! Woot! Woot!
This is ONE BIG DAY!!!
Ali's Graduation!!!

Happy Happy Birthday Yvonnie Dear!!!

Well, I did not expect to have such a wonderful birthday,
but. . . .it was!!!
Sometimes in years past money has been tight
and we agree to keep things small and simple.
I am not one who needs a shower of gifts on my birthday.
I'm actually VERY happy to pretend it didn't even happen,
and if I have to acknowledge it,
a BBQ with all the kids is all I need.

So. . . . when Robin wished me a happy birthday
early morning on June 4th. . .
I was caught off guard.
Not because it isn't like him. It's soooo him!
But for some reason I was not prepared for him
to hand me over such a beautiful box.
These picts do NOT do it justice!
It's a GORGEOUS pearl bracelet and
matching earrings.
I love them!! They go with fancy, they go
with jeans! They're very classy (in MY opinion)
and. . . Robin just has great taste!
Then the girls called and Dad and I went to
meet them at Pancho & Lefty's where
we had a yummy yummy lunch!!
and. . . they gave me MORE gifts!!!
Woahhhh!!
I LOVE these shoes!!! I have wanted a pair
like them for months!!!
and. . . I LOVE these too!!!
So fun! They go with everything!!

They also gave me a darling watermelon colored top,
(I missed getting a picture of that.)
I just had a terrific day!
I was spoiled to the NINES!
And I feel very very blessed to have such thoughtful
kids and wonderful husband.

Robin does dinner! Woot! Woot!

It's not a secret. . . I'm not a fan of the kitchen. . . work work work. . . mess, mess, mess, cook, cook cook, clean, clean, clean. . .only to have the kids say
"I don't like this. . ."
Well, Robin watches the food channel pretty regularly and is always dropping the big hint. . .
"oooh. . . that looks good". . . "Did you see what they did dear?". . . . etc . .
Well, yesterday they cooked an oven roast and it was just more than he could stand!
First of all, he's usually eats vegetarian! But the meal was just too tempting!
So off to the store! And he's thinking we should have this for Sunday dinner.
I'm not too interested because I have meetings all day, and just want to do something EZ!
so. . .he says, "I'll do it!"
You HAVE to know Robin to appreciate these words!!
He does NOT cook! unless it's pancakes, french toast or scrambled eggs and toast!
But he worked all day Sunday to present us with his first ever oven roasted Roast with Aujus and whipped potato casserole!
This is an epic moment!!!! REALLY!!!
And . . . it was really quite tasty!
I told him he has a new Sunday Job!!!

Ali & Aiden

Yesterday was a primary party where the kids were all suppose to decorate a box like a car and come to a "Drive In" party for a movie at the church. Sylvia and I helped them tape their boxes together then turned them loose with paint.

Believe it or not, these kids really did paint their own cars! Ali wanted every square inch purple, Aiden wanted pink! But we ran out of pink paint so, he opted to add blue and white!
After we finished painting, we got the idea to add the license plates and Ali insisted on a "Barbie" car with flowers, and princesses. . . so thanks to clip art, printers and glue sticks, she got to add them as well.
They (we) had lot's of fun!

IT'S A BOY!!!! YEAH!!!!

Ashley and Beau got the news yesterday
that they are going to have a boy!!!
We are sooo excited!!!
The Robin and Yvonne Wall family
has been a little short in the
boy department and this is grr-reat news!

Ashley's original due date was Sept 10th, but the Doctor has bumped it up a week.
We're looking at the first week in September!!!

Now if these two can just come up with a name they both can agree on!

Our Easter Picnic!

It's a family tradition!
We hike up to our favorite little spot on the
north side of Snow Canyon.
A secluded little spot in the mouth
of several large sand stone pillars of rock.
Looks like Barry and Melody are taking a break!

Doug makes it with Conrad and
Lincoln in tow!
Once we're there, the kids immediately start to
play in the sand! Yeah!!!
We relax from the hike with a little picnic,
laying in the sun to catch some rays on our
lily white legs!
Just chillin under the Dixie Sun!
Then it's time to break out the Easter eggs!
Oh! So beautiful!!!
And we make our trails!
with tunnels :-)
and jumps!

It's constant work keeping them clear of the loose sand.
Then we have to fetch the eggs at the bottom and
haul them back up to the top!
Sometimes we have more eggs than box!
Michelle was getting creative here!
The team at the top of the hill!

and I should have more picts here, but suffice to know
that dozens of eggs bounced and rolled numerous times
down our wondrous trails, tunnels and jumps!
Some collided and cracked. . . actually MANY
collided and cracked!
And the kids had a grrrrreat time!!!

Lucky Mama!

Well, I've been a horrible blogger the past few months. My life has seemed so busy and I haven't had any new news to post. But I was just browsing through Errin's blog (again) and thought about how incredibly talented she is. Wow! What a gifted woman! (I say that EVERY TIME I look at her blog or website.) She is largely a self-taught photographer. Yeah. . .she's had a workshop or two, but mostly it's a gift, an eye, a creative mind with a camera to shoot. If there's an awesome picture on my blog it's because I've pirated it from her. Her website is awesome too! Here's a few that I thought I would share today.

This is a picture of Ali and her puppy dog "Big". . . .so cute!
These next 3 picts are of my niece Katrina and her fiance Spencer. They're getting married in June? . . .hm.m.m.m I think!

These next two are of a cutie named Harlo,
one of Errin's friend's babies.
Cute! Cute! Cute!

Then these next two are of Ali
and Harlo's big sister, (I think)
Playing!!!!
Oh to be young!!

Errin is teaching her technics to Ashley and so I get to have all the wonderful pictures I want!!!
There's not much you can hold onto through out your life, but pictures are one of them!
One of the few things you really really want, if your house burns down!
Who cares about the furniture, the jewelry, the plasma TV. . . we want our pictures!!
